Great Doddington Heritage Group
The Great Doddington Heritage Group was formed in 2009 with the aim of researching the history of the village along with its houses and people. Any photographs or stories relating to the village would be very much appreciated. We may also be able to help with family history researches connected to the village. Membership to the Group is £6 for individuals and £12 per household (renewable 31st October each year) which entitles you to discounted admission to Group events, Quarterly newsletter, Access to the British Association for Local History and the opportunity to take part in research and to assist the Group with their projects. W.I – Womens’ Institute
Evenings – We meet in the Memorial Hall on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm where we offer an interesting and varies programme of discussions and speakers. Beaver Scouts (Part of the Wilby & Great Doddington Scout Group)
The Beaver Scouts meet in the Memorial Hall every Tuesday in term time between 6pm and 7pm. Beaver Scouts are the youngest members of the Scout Movement catering for age range 6 to 8 years old. The Cubs meet on Tuesday evening after the Beavers between 7pm to 8:30pm and the Scouts meet every Thursdays between 7pm to 8:30pm.

Ramblers
If you want to enjoy walking and getting out in the great outdoors, why not join the WELLINGBOROUGH RAMBLERS. Their walks give you a healthy way to enjoy exercise and meet like-minded people. They are a friendly walking group and will make you most welcome whatever your walking ability. The group is run by its members and is part of “Ramblers”

Friends of Great Doddington Park
The Friends of Great Doddington Park was recently formed to fundraise to enhance the equipment at the play park. A number of fund raising events have been held. Look out for further information regarding a fundraising ball to be held in 2018.

Doddington Ducklings
This is a volunteer-run, stay & play mums and tots group for children 0-5 years. Activities include messy play, crafts, baby area, toys and snacks.
Meetings are held bi-weekly on a Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm at Great Doddington Memorial Hall.

Village pre school
A village playgroup for ages two and a half to school age. The playgroup, located in Church Lane, is open 9.00am – 12.00noon in school term time and the children enjoy many activities which will prepare them for the big step to full time education. The contact manager is Laura.
The pre school is located in the centre of the village and enjoys strong links with the village Primary School. Term time hours are on offer for children aged 2 to 4 years.
